About Modern Wrenfield
Modern Wrenfield makes shoulder bags for women who want one good bag rather than five disposable ones.
We started with a straightforward frustration: the gap between a $30 bag that looks tired within a season and a $600 bag that most people can't justify. There is very little in between that is honestly made and honestly described. Most of what fills that gap is a generic factory bag with a logo stamped on it and a story invented around it.
So we do the boring parts properly instead. We choose a small number of styles rather than a catalogue of hundreds. We photograph the bags as they actually are. We publish real measurements, real materials and real weights on every product page, because "premium quality" tells you nothing and 28 × 20 × 11 cm tells you whether it fits your laptop.
What we care about
Honest materials. We tell you exactly what a bag is made from. If it's vegan PU leather, the page says vegan PU leather. We would rather lose a sale than describe a material as something it isn't.
Colour that lasts. Every shade in our range is chosen to work across a whole wardrobe and across a whole year — sage, blush, ivory, cobalt, emerald, ruby. Nothing that will look dated by next spring.
Structure that holds. Reinforced bases, anchored handle stitching and lined interiors. A bag that slumps on a desk is a bag you stop carrying.
Support that answers. One business day, every time, from a person who can actually look at your order.
How we work
We're a small US-based operation. We hold our own stock, we pack our own orders, and we ship free within the United States on every order, with a 30-day return window and no restocking fee. If a bag isn't right, sending it back should not be a fight.
