Care & keeping
Looked after, it keeps its shape for years.
Spot clean with a dry cloth or a soft brush. Vacuum gently with a brush attachment to lift dust from the weave. Do not machine wash, soak or bleach. Keep the basket dry — water the plant in its grower pot elsewhere, or use a saucer inside the basket. Prolonged damp will stain and weaken jute fibre. Keep out of direct sun for long periods to stop the mustard dye fading.
